| This award-winning Southampton bar and restaurant launched its stylish new look in autumn 2007. The launch followed an extensive 3-month refurbishment programme that has transformed the former seafarers’ hotel into the height of boutique accommodation.
Facilities include a fully equipped private meeting room for up to 16 people, a dedicated lounge and reception, and a trendy urban roof garden.
The Grosvenor Hotel is in the centre of Stockbridge, on the banks of the Test River. It has classic Georgian features, good food and wine, and modern-day comforts.
Located between Winchester and Salisbury, the friendly, traditional hotel offers a warm welcome. There are 26 well-equipped, en suite rooms with a colour TV and hot-drink-making facilities.
The Grosvenor Hotel Restaurant serves a creative menu featuring quality local produce, including the world-famous River Test Trout. Guests can dine in the restaurant, the informal bar or al fresco in the garden.
The hotel is well located for fishing on the River Test. Stonehenge and 10th-century Romsey Abbey are also close by, and Marwell Zoo, the New Forest and Newbury Racecourse are just a short drive away.
